Zion is always a circle, and inside that circle is a square
Zion has spokes coming out of it. (celestial; like the suns rays in pictures and paintings)
A spoke would go out every 30 miles (how far it stretched I do not know) and it was always in a valley.
Joseph Smiths ideal community would grow to 20,000 people until it filled the whole earth.
The people of Zion always lived in the square that is located in the center of the circle.
The square was broken up into a grid of which the center had a tabernacle (called tabernacle square)
Each of the grid blocks was 10 acres and many houses I assume would occupy each block.
Each house was 40 ft from the curb to make room for shrubbery, flowers, trees, etc..
The backyard was always reserved for farming. Every family a farmer (like today's every member a missionary LOL)
The
field was to be received as a stewardshipand all of the extra produce
from harvesting was to be brought to bishops storehouse also in the
center.

The following clip is about the amazing mastery of packing and delivery in
India.
